PROGRAM DETAILS
The purpose of the I CAN Play Hockey program is to teach basic hockey skills to children and youth with autism in a safe and supportive environment. Participants will be introduced to stick handling, passing and shooting. There will also be time for fun and non-competitive scrimmaging. Additionally, the program will include a non-competitive year-end hockey tournament that will bring together adapted hockey teams from across the province.

Hockey programs are offered to participants with autism between 8-18 years and an adult program.

I CAN Play Hockey is a unique CAN program that provides participants with an entire hockey season of play in a highly supported environment. I CAN Play hockey runs from October to March. Participants are supported by trained coaches, experienced support workers and dedicated volunteers.
